The Vetus P104810 'Maxwell' foot switch is designed to operate an anchor windlass, but is also ideal for operating a bow thruster on a sailing yacht. On such boats it is often difficult to find a location for a conventional control panel, where it won't get damaged and is easily reached from behind the wheel.

The foot switch is operated via solenoids on 12 volt or 24 volt systems, allowing for smaller diameter wiring to be used. The compact up and down foot switch features a black protective cover to avoid accidental engaging of the solenoids.

The grey button is reversible to indicate the direction and can be operated by hand with the protective cover down or by foot when the cover is open.
