Vetus Hydrophor pressurised water systems provide a constant water flow to the boat's fresh water circuit, in a similar way to the piped water method used in domestic applications. The water tank is pressurised and contains a rubber diaphragm to help pump the water without the aid of the motor. This water system is quiet and energy saving due to its design.

The Vetus Hydrophor features a self-priming pump as well as the pressurised water tank. The inlet port contains a water strainer to ensure water cleanliness and salinity.
