Scout Wi-Fi/4G onBoard Kit (Dual SIM Router, 4G/Wi-Fi Antenna)

Part No: 6-66008

The Scout Wi-Fi+4G onBoard all-in-one system is designed to provide internet connectivity on boats by seamlessly combining Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

The system allows for internet connectivity from two main sources: nearby Wi-Fi hotspots and cellular networks with up to 4G speeds. This ensures a reliable and high-speed internet connection up to 20 miles from the coast.

The system's receiver automatically switches between Wi-Fi signals and cellular data to maintain uninterrupted internet connectivity.

The Wi-Fi+4G onBoard system includes a built-in hotspot that can accommodate up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi users. Users can connect wirelessly to the hotspot and share the internet connection. For added security, a private password can be set up to restrict access to unknown users.

The system can be easily managed wirelessly through a smartphone, tablet, or laptop using a web browser interface. This user-friendly interface eliminates the need for additional cables or drivers.

Wi-Fi+4G onBoard is supplied with a professional high-speed router (Sea-Hub plus): This durable router serves as the central hub of the system. It supports Dual-SIM functionality, has multiple Ethernet interfaces, and provides Wi-Fi connectivity.

A 4dB external waterproof antenna is included to enhance the reception of cellular signals, ensuring a reliable 4G connection. A high-power 10dB external waterproof Wi-Fi antenna is also included to extend the range and strength of Wi-Fi signals from nearby hotspots.

The system requires a data-only SIM card (not included) to establish a cellular data connection. It also offers the option of using a second SIM card for added flexibility.

The Sea-Hub plus router as supplied is a professional-grade device with advanced networking functionality.

It offers features such as Dual-SIM support, multiple Ethernet interfaces, Wi-Fi support, and industrial-grade design. It serves as both a primary and backup internet source, ensuring reliable connectivity with high data throughput and data redundancy.

The router comes with RutOS software, which includes security features like VPN services, firewall, hotspot functionality, auto failover, load balancing, SMS control, and RMS support (Remote Management System). The system features RMS support, allowing for remote management and monitoring of the router.

Even without a public IP address, the client-server based RMS system enables remote access to the router. This enables tracking of various status changes over time, such as device temperature, mobile signal quality, and data usage, ensuring comprehensive oversight and control.
