A 100W solar panel with inbuilt aluminium brackets and plastic side covers, ideal for safe and simple installation on narrowboats.

The integrated aluminium brackets enable the solar panel to be secured at an adequate distance from the narrowboat (or other mounted surface), which enables good ventilation to help avoid loss of performance, even at high operating temperatures.

This monocrystalline solar panel is constructed from tempered glass and high purity silicon cells coated with a Tedlar foil, enclosed within two sheets of EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate).

The components used to coat the cells are designed to achieve maximum transmittance and transparency, plus the low iron content and anti-reflective coating increase efficiency to 18.05%.

Special by-pass diodes protect the cells from overvoltages and allow the solar panel to continue working even in the event of shading and accidental breakage of the photovoltaic cells.
