These marine grade aluminium alloy trim tabs are part of Lectrotab's electromechanical trim tab system, a refreshing alternative to the conventional hydraulic systems. The electric trim tab system offers advantages such as dramatically reduced installation time, no possibility of mess or oil leaks and precise and quick operation and response. Lectrotab trim tab systems are permanently sealed and require no maintenance.

Lectrotab TA9X12 alloy trim tabs feature strong "no-break" polypropylene hinges to attach to the transom, which add to the strength and rigidity of the plates and only require screwing rather than welding. Being made from marine grade aluminium alloy, they meet the needs of aluminium hulled boats and are also an economical option for other boats. They are the equivalent strength of 10 gauge stainless steel.
